****Important notification****: if you registered to the seminar, you will not be able to cancel your registration after the second week of the semester.
This means that if you register and then decide later (more than two weeks) that you don't want to take the seminar, you will FAIL the seminar. There are no exceptions to this.

The presentations will be in English.
Time and location: Thursday 10:30 (location TBA)
Seminar requirements:
- Preparation meeting a week before your lecture
- Present a paper
- Review a paper
- A weekly assignment based on the week's lecture
- Physical attendance is mandatory
Prerequisites:
Officially, the seminar does not have prerequisites.
However, if you haven't taken, or don't feel comfortable with:
- Theory of computation
- Logic
then the seminar will be extremely difficult, and you will be miserable.
I strongly advise against taking it without these courses.

Grade composition:
30% - Proficiency in the material during your talk
25% - Preparation for the talk (during our pre-talk meeting)
15% - Delivery of your talk (clarity, presentation, etc.)
10% - Review of another paper & talk.
10% - Weekly assignment
10% - Attendance
AI policy:
- We're here to learn interesting stuff, and develop thinking skills. If you use AI to read your paper, you won't learn as much. Your loss.
- If you use AI to the extent that in our pre-lecture meeting (or in the lecture itself) you don't know the material, you will lose marks.
- By all means use AI to improve your presentation, as well as to research and explain parts of the paper.
