The presentations will be in English.
Lectures will be on Sundays, 12:30 -- 14:30 in Taub 8.
Seminar requirements:
- Present a paper
- A weekly assignment based on the week's lecture
- Attendance is mandatory
Prerequisites:
Officially, the seminar does not have prerequisites.
However, if you haven't taken:
- theory of computation
- logic
then the seminar will be extremely difficult. I strongly advise against taking it without those courses.
Grade composition:
30% - Proficiency in the material during your talk
30% - Preparation for the talk (during our pre-talk meeting)
20% - Delivery of your talk (clarity, presentation, etc.)
10% - Weekly assignment
10% - Attendance
