Since access to CS Gitlab servers is currently still limited, I have created an official Github clone here: https://github.com/corwin-of-amber/techcs-236346 Please clone this one instead. I have pushed a few small updates there; I will also push future updates to Github so to avoid confusion we should all switch to that remote. |

I was trying to move OH from Tuesday to Monday but as of now we are on general strike. The warmup exercise deadline will be postponed, new date TBD. But since you have time now (no classes), in between rallies, do try to start working on it. I will be available to assist on the Slack channel. |

Office Hours for Environment Setup TOMORROW | |

Hello all, I was would like to offer office hours for the purpose of installing Jupyter & PyRTL etc. for those who find it difficult, like I said in the meetup. I was going to hold them on Tuesday instead of class since we are not meeting, but it seems that Tuesday is going to get complicated because of rallies and access to campus may be limited. Therefore I am open to office hours tomorrow (Mon 27/2) instead, starting 17:30. Let me know if you are interested. The course's Slack channel is also a good place to ask for help. |

Hello 236346, As you are well aware, this term we are going to have a very cool project. Part of the fun is going to be hacking some parts and pieces *in the classroom*. In the first meetup, I will be demo-ing some basic stuff, and you are most encouraged to bring a laptop with this software installed: 1. Python 3.10 or above 2. Jupyter (jupyter-lab is recommended) 3. PyRTL (`pip install pyrtl`) And also clone this repo from the course's Gitlab: https://gitlab.cs.technion.ac.il/shachari/Teaching.Project.Adder2Snake Windows users: it would be easiest to install software on WSL2 (Windows Subsystem for Linux); it will save you _so many_ problems later on. |
