Are the grades of the Homeworks compulsory (takef) ?
What is the weight of them in the final grade?

HW grade will be a MAGEN calculated as the best of two options: (assuming there are N exercises) 15% MAGEN calculated as the average of N exercises. OR 10% MAGEN calculated as the average of the best N-1 out of N exercises. Nevertheless, the homework is an important part of the course material and a variation on some of the questions might be included in the exam. |
What is the HW appeals policy?

You could appeal your HW grade during 2 weeks after it has been posted. Submit your appeal to the TA in charge by email. |
Can I transfer the HW grade from the previous semesters?

What is the policy about late HW submission?

Unless you get special permission, you can submit homework up to 4 days late, but you will get a penalty on the grade: 1 day late - minus 2 pts 2 days late - minus 4 pts 3 days late - minus 8 pts 4 days late - minus 16 pts |
What is the AI use policy for HW assignments?

HW assignments are intended to help you assimilate and understand the course material. The use of AI tools for HW assignments is not recommended. Directly copying answers from such tools is strictly prohibited. |
