- Appeals should be submitted in writing using the standard appeal form (available on the faculty site) - Appeals should be placed in Yechiel's mail box (Taub, 5'th floor, box 64) no later than December 12. - You cannot appeal over the amount of points reduced over a mistake. - You may appeal over mistakes you think were made by the checker. - Please write in 1-3 lines (per problem) the reason for your appeal. (Writing extra text and pleas does not help your appeal anyway) - Do NOT attach the scan to your mail. - note that due to an appeal, the entire exam might be checked again and points may be reduced. |

The grades for the exam have been published and you should be able to see them now. There was a factor and the final grade is calculated as follows: Let X be your exam grade, and H be your HW average. Y = 1.1*X+5 //This is the exam factor Final_grade = min(round(0.7*Y+0.3*H) , 100) A further message will be sent later regarding the scanning and appeals. Good luck in the coming semester! |

The exams will be passed to the secretariat Today 29.10. For any questions regarding the scanning please approach the secretariat. Appeals: - Appeals should be submitted in writing using the standard appeal form (available on the faculty site) - Appeals should be placed in Kimchi's mail box (Taub, 5'th floor). - The appeal should be submitted before the 7.11. - You cannot appeal over the amount of points reduced over a mistake. - You may appeal over mistakes you think were made by the checker. - Please write in 1-3 lines (per problem) the reason for your appeal. (Writing extra text and pleas does not help your appeal anyway) - In case of an unjustified appeal the entire exam might be checked again and points may be reduced. Good luck. |

Starting next week, we will give workshops in Room 018 (CS Farm), at: Sundays 12:30-14:30 - Raeda. Tuesdays 14:30-16:30 - Hasan. Please see the syllabus file in the site. it contains, inter alia, estimated dates for publishing and submitting the homeworks. So, please plan ahead. |

It is your responsibility to be updated and to check from time to time for new information posted on the webpage. The lecture and tutorial slides can be downloaded from the "Course Material" section.
