The final grades was 0.1*hw+0.9*grade. There was no factor for this exam. Note: this is different for students in 234111 or 234117. The exam scanning will be published in the next few days. Appeal rules are as in Moed A. Please read the instructions again. |

פורסמו ציוני מועד א וציונים סופיים בקורס. ניתן פקטור עפ"י הנוסחה הבאה: factored_grade=grade^0.7 * 100^0.3 הציון הסופי חושב עפ"י הנוסחה: finalb=0.9*factored_grade+0.1*hw_grade + 2 אם הציון הסופי לאחר הפקטור היה גדול מ-53 וקטן מ-55 הוא הועלה אוטומטית ל-55. הסריקות יהיו זמינות באתר לימודי הסמכה בתחילת השבוע הבא. נוהל ערעורים: המחברות מוגשות היום לסריקה, ויהיו זמינות בימים הקרובים. שימו לב: עקב הזמן המועט עד למועד ב, הנכם מתבקשים לערער מייד עם פרסום המחברת. ניתן לערער עד שבוע מיום פרסום המחברות. על מה מערערים: סכימת נקודות לא נכונה, או הערה לא נכונה של בודק. על מה לא מערערים: כמות הנקודות שהבודק הוריד, אם אינכם בטוחים האם תשובתכם נכונה, או שחסר לכם רק נקודה/שתיים/שלוש/וכו׳ כדי לעבור/להצטיין/וכו׳ שימו לב: הגשת ערעור עשויה לגרור בדיקה מחודשת של כל המבחן. כיצד להגיש: ערעורים על מועד א יש להגיש אך ורק לנחשון במייל uncohenatcs.technion.ac.il המייל חייב להכיל את הדברים הבאים: Title: ערעור 2014 234114/7 Email body: ID number, course number (234114 or 234117 or 234111), your current exam grade, your current final grade. The grades are after a factor: pow(Exm-grade, .7) * pow(100, 0.3). There may be a minimal variation while we incorporate HW grades later during the day. Exams will be sent for scanning today. |

In the next tutorial at Wednesday 3.Sep we will do tutorial 13 (sorting algorithms). In the tutorial at Monday 8.Sep we will do tutorial 12 (backtracking). Additionally, note that the FAQ for hw 4 question 2 was updated (how to deal with upper cases letter). |

The tutorial at Wednesday 20.8 is cancalled. Instead, a lecture will be given at 13:30-15:30 @ Taub 7. Note: this is one hour after the tutorial usually begins. The lecture at Monday 25.8 is cancelled. Instead, a tutorial will be given at 9:30-11:30 @ Taub 9 (same hour as the lecture). Finally, the totorial at Wednesday 27.8 is also cancalled. Instead, a tutorial will be given at Thusday 28.8. In this tutorial we will solve previous exams, and not new materials. Specific hour and place will be published next week. |

Assignment #1 was publish. You can find it in the assignments tab. The due date is 13.8 at 9:00. Note that Assignment #2 was also publish, but it depends on materials we didn't learn yet. You must test yourself on the self test website http://csl2.cs.technion.ac.il/~cs234114/ before submitting. It run your code on the same environment as the automatic check, and can find bugs you cant. Nachshon's office hours are cancelled for this Tuesday. Instead, they will be given at Wednesday 14:20-15:20. |
