Could the video be a substitute for the lectures? | |
The video is not a substitute for the lectures. Student who cannot attend the lectures should also use books, and be in contact with students who attend the lectures to get updates about progress, worked examples, and information conveyed in the class. Most of the material is covered by the video, but the details and order may vary from term to term. |
What is the weight of the home assignments in the final grade? | |
If the exam grade is 55 or higher, the home assignments weight will be 15%. Otherwise, their weight will be 0. |
Are the grades of the homeworks compulsory (takef) ? | |

Should the HW be submitted in pairs? | |
It is recommended to submit in pairs. However, if you prefer to submit alone you may do so. |
Can I transfer the HW grade from the previous semesters? | |
You can transfer the HW grade ONLY if you made the HW in the last semester. Please note that you can submit all your homeworks only, i.e., you cannot decide to transfer the grades of HW 1, 4, and 7 only. To transfer your grades send an e-mail to TA in charge with your name and i.d. number. You can do it only during the first month of the semester. |
What is the final exam policy? | |
The final exam will be with Homer Sagur. Each student can bring to the exam two A4 sheet of paper(i.e. 4 written pages!). These pages are personal and cannot be transfered during the exam. Calculators with programming/graphics and cellular phones are not allowed |
What about HOVERET MIVHANIM? | |
It is strongly reccomended to solve all exams before the final exam, but you should take in account that the solutions in this papers are given by other students and not 100% exact and may be not complete. |
What is the HW appeals policy? | |
You could appeal your HW grade during 2 weeks after it been posted. No any appeals on HW grades will be accepted after exam grade are published. You should put your appeal in TA in charge mailbox on 5th floor. |
