Welcome to the 'Signal, Image and Data Processing' course (236200) of Winter Semester 2018/19.
This course is an extended format of the 'Signal and Image Processing' course (236327).
In the upcoming Winter semester, the course 236200 will include a 3-hour lecture and a 2-hour tutorial each week.
These will allow a thorough treatment of fundamental topics related to representation, compression, restoration, and dimensionality reduction of general data and, in particular, of signals and images.
Please note that in the upcoming semester we will not be strict about the prerequisite course requirements.
However, please be aware that this course requires an extensive use of basic linear algebra, calculus, and probability.
