Welcome to the 'Signal, Image and Data Processing' course (236200) of Spring Semester 2019.
This course is an extended format of the 'Signal and Image Processing' course (236327).
In the upcoming semester, the course 236200 will include a 3-hour lecture and a 2-hour tutorial each week.
These will allow a thorough treatment of fundamental topics related to representation, compression, restoration, and dimensionality reduction of general data and, in particular, of signals and images.
Please be aware that this course requires an extensive use of basic linear algebra, calculus, and probability.
Credit points: 4.0
Grading Policy:
HW 30% TAKEF (4 assignments)
Exam 70% TAKEF
The homework assignments should be submitted in pairs.
