Two bugs were fixed in the DriftNavigation Class, Laser sensor and problem with first call for next. Thanks for everyone who pointed this, make sure you re-download the class. |

HW3 is postponed | |

As you heard in the lecture, HW3 is postponed for next Sunday 13:00. Also, you can submit only one of the questions, either tangent bug or cell decomposition. Regarding tangent bug, as we learned in the tutorial, you have to follow the m-line. In this assignment, you can just follow the x=y and x=const, y=const lines as you saw in Bug2 implementation. If you are using Bug2 way, make sure you clear this in the documentation. Best, Course Staff |

You grades are published, you can see yours under "Grades" Regarding HW3, if you get a problem when running the demo "edgelist" is missing, make sure you install the Computer vision toolbox from peter's website. If you get some other problem, make sure you are using a new version of matlab |

HW3 is available online, submission date till 29.1.13, 13:00 Few notes: 1. There are both dry and wet parts, you only need to submit the DRY part in the course's cell. Wet part should be submitted electronically only! 2. Please read ALL the wet part before you begin coding, read the general notes, try to understand what is being asked from you. 3. Before you start coding, look at the code which is supplied, all the algorithms you are required to code should be coded in the .m files supplied. for example, bug 1 algorithm should be implemented inside the Bug1.m file. 4. You are allowed to add more functions and classes. 5. Note that the HW should be submitted in pairs! 6. NO postponements will be given! Plan your time wisely. Submission: You should submit all your code in hw3_<id1>_<id2>.zip format All your code should be in the same directory! Do NOT include the provided code (e.g. SonarSensor, LaserSensor .. etc) Final Project: In the final project you will use some of the algorithms you implemented in HW3, so, you will be graded TWICE on those algorithms. Make sure you implement them almost "perfectly" |

As you all know, the midterm will take place at the lecture hour Sunday 13.1. and will last for an hour. The midterm includes all the materials you've seen in the lectures (including the locomotion lecture), tutorials, and the book (Craig) up to (and including) Tutorial 7 and Lecture 5 You can bring ONE A4 formulas page to the midterm, we'll also hand out a small formulas page which will soon be available in the website. |

HW2 has been published, you are encouraged to start working on it ASAP. The tutorial next week will take place in the ISL lab. (It's the lab near the W.C in 1st floor), also, we'll have a little workshop on Robotic Toolbox to help you getting started with the HW assignment. The workshop may end after the tutorial (10:30-11:30). |

You can find a manual in HW2 section under the Assignments tab, you are encouraged to start reading the manual, specially, the functions: Link, SerialLink, plot, fkine, jtraj. Note that whoever gets caught copying will get 0 automatically! |
