The course is intended for excellent students who are interested in practical research-oriented projects related to computer systems aspects, such as operating systems, computer architecture, virtualization, storage, networking, security, and clouds. The project will consist of working on an actual research problem. Undergraduate students can take this course to fulfill their project study requirement, and graduate students (and seasoned undergraduates) can take it as a first step towards an MSc/PhD thesis.
Prerequisites: "Operating Systems" (234123 or 046209) and "Computer Architecture" (236267 or 046267).
