Moed A Grades have been Published

The grades are now visible on GR. The course average after Moed A is 78.98, and the median is 83.71. The exam as well as a solution have been uploaded to the Course Material section. The exam scans should be available within the next couple of days. Appeals will be acceptable only by submitting a formal appeal form (can be downloaded from the faculty website) to Assaf's mailbox (#140) at the 5th floor of Taub. We will not accept appeals submitted after August 14th. We hope you've enjoyed the course and learned from it. And remember, if you really want to code less bugs, code slower. |

TUW Viral users bonus recalculated
|
Due to a technical error the TUW viral users bonus was not taken into consideration while grading homework 3. A 5 points bonus was now given to students who addressed the virality metric for the TUW format with a valid execution. |

The manual assessment grade reflects our impressions on your API and implementation, some of which you've heard during the feedback sessions. Feedback sessions

Next week we will start our first feedback sessions for assignment #3. Each team is requested to email Assaf and apply for one of the available feedback sessions. Please state the course number and your IDs in the subject line. The assignments to sessions as well as the session capacity is listed in a the Google calendar linked below. You're requested to make sure the session is not full before you apply (registration is on a first-come-first-served basis). During these sessions each team will receive an up to 10 minutes feedback about the code you submitted in homework 3. Note that you will not know your grade during this session, and this feedback is left to your discretion (you may chose to agree with it or not). Since we are highly time constrained, you are requested to show on time and respect the time limits. During this semester we will be using the Piazza Q&A system to advance on going discussion on various course subjects. You can think of this website as a hybrid of Webcourse FAQ, the Facebook course group and StackOverflow. Any student can post a question and tag (e.g. hw1, exam, testing, spartanization, guice, mockito, etc.), insert code snippets or post interesting links. Anyone, student or Staff member, can answer a post (no "like" button unfortunately), and add from his experience thus creating a rich discussion. You can also search for previous answers by topic, or by specific keywords and quickly find what you need. Unlike Facebook or Webcourse the course staff can mark good questions and answers, quickly pointing you to the "formal" answer or to the heart of the discussion. Please note that we will not use Webcourse FAQ system, and we encourage you to share your thoughts there instead of the Facebook group so everyone could benefit from your input. Soft.
