Grades for assignments 3+4 published

The grades for both final assignments have been published. You will notice that you have an extra column named HW3_Bonus. This is an additive bonus that was added to HW3 grade. The bonus was calculated by aggregating the number of teams that selected to use your API, and your relative grade (after normalization) in HW4 feedbacks in the different parameters. The details of HW4 grading can be found under the assignments section. Please note that you cannot appeal on HW3 grade, nor the it's bonus. If you wish to appeal on HW4, please do so my email. |

Feedback sessions schedule

The hw3 feedback schedule has been posted under the assignments section. The feedback sessions will be held under a first-come-first-serve basis. Since we're limited by time, meetings will be bound by 10 minutes in which we will try to go over as much of the code as possible (although some things may be left behind). Note, that both partners must attend the feedback session. Students who will come without their partner will not receive feedback and may schedule another meeting. If you wish to change your schedule you should let me know by email but you should note that some days are already full. |

Feedback sessions update

The feedback session that was suppose to be held on the 26th of June is cancelled. Instead we will have an extra test rehearsal tutorial. Also, this Tuesday 5th of June, we will be holding another feedback sessions. Students who wish to enroll to this feedback session are welcome send an email to Assaf. |

Assignment 2 grades published

You can find the grades break-down in the assignments sections. The check was divided into an automatic check and a manual check of the code. Those of you who got a low score due to failures in the automatic check can ask for resubmission (with a penalty of 10 points). Note, that you can only do so after you've come and discussed it with me. The automatic checks will be published within a week. Afterwards you will not be able to ask resubmission. If you wish to appeal your manual check, you should schedule a meeting, or come to the reception hours. You cannot appeal by email. Assaf |

Hello all, In the next tutorial we will talk about the importance of API design. In order to make the discussion fruitful you are asked to see this excellent on-line lecture. The speaker, is one of the 'founding fathers' of Java, and was the architect of some of the main classes you use everyday (List, Set, Map,...). Please note that this lecture is part of the course material and is NOT labeled as 'extra'. We will discuss it and use terms from it, and we will most definitely ask questions about it in the exam. Cofoja tutorial updated

Please note that the Contracts for Java.pdf file was updated. Some of you pointed out that Eclipse must run with JDK configured and not the default JRE. The tutorial now includes a step, of how exactly to configure Eclipse to point to the JDK. This is needed in many Eclipse plug-ins and extensions (as well as for annotation processing), and is always recommended. |
