Clarification for the wet assignment | |

In the second task you need to handle any disjunction of terms, including disjunction in nested queries. Your solution should ensure that any disjunction at any level in the query is scored according to the requirement, i.e., any disjunction scorer should score documents according to the number of sub-scorers that are satisfied by the document. However, you do not control the way Lucene parses queries. You should identify the correct place in the code to implement this change. This change should be robust in the sense that it does not depend on the specifics of query parsing. |

Please contact Ronny with any extension requests (e.g. due to reserve duty or illness) ahead of time. Unexcused late submissions will cause a penalty of 5 points per day, and unlike timely submissions will require emailing a soft copy to Eshcar. |
