Dear students, HW2 submission date postponed to 21/3. Also, here are a couple of hints: Q 2.b - start with proving that there is an O(1)-bit public-coin protocol for f with error at most 1/2 − disc(f)/2, and then amplify it. Q 4 - adapt the proof we saw in class for the claim that "for most functions it holds that D(f) > n-O(1)" to the distributional communication complexity setting. Good luck! |
