Dear students, The benchmark.py has been updated in both assignments to allow for either of the approved input formats. The allowed formats are a single data tensor or a list of tensors. Both assignments were reopened for submission until the 3/11 We ask students with runtime errors to resubmit the assignment by this date. We'll contact students with runtime errors through mail to provide details, in which case you may resubmit the assignment by the given date. In addition, for each assignment, we've detailed below the run command for the benchmark, the ID of received submissions, and the ID of submissions with runtime errors. Dear Students, As it seems the Guide instructions were not clear, we have decided to allow for several input options for the implemented method. we will allow for both a list of tensors or a single tensor containing each of the inputs to the matmul method. Dear Students, The code most of you submitted in the assignments contains syntax errors that do not align with the H.W. guide. These do not allow us to compare the computational portion of the grades correctly. We have updated the H.W. assignments ZIP with a benchmark.py file. This benchmark will be used to test the implementations you have provided. Please ensure your submissions align with the required syntax and resubmit them. Dear Students, The final project presentations are scheduled for Monday (28.10) from 12:00 to 19:30. Project Proposals | |

Dear students, The submission of the project proposals has been postponed to 6.8. However, notice that the proposal presentations are scheduled for the last 1-2 semester lectures (depending on the number of authorized projects). As detailed in the project guide, a registration form will be published for the presentations. Attendance at these presentations is mandatory for all students. We view the submission and presentation of the project proposals as an essential step in producing successful projects, and they accordingly encompass a significant part of your final grade. These proposals should be short paragraphs detailing the paper or papers on which you wish to base your project and the research questions on which you will focus. Clerfication on theoretical projects | |

Dear students, Theoretical projects will only be approved in scenarios where practical implementations cannot be tested. This is mainly relevant for comparison of hardware architectures where the hardware is not available. To clarify, your projects should contain a practical section unless such cannot be deployed. In addition, when approved, theoretical projects are expected to encompass multiple papers and in depth comparisons. Such projects are held to higher standard and should discuss how a practical evaluation could be potentially deployed. Regards, Course staff |

I couldn't load the papers to the GR (some security issue), so I created a directory on my google drive and share it with you. Dear Students, This week, we will conduct a mandatory project proposal workshop during the course hours. The workshop will take place on Tuesday from 17:30 to 19:30, and the lecture before it will be as usual. All students must attend in person, and Zoom participation will only be authorized for exceptional circumstances.
