The formula was final_grade = 0.22*hw1 + 0.28*hw2 + 0.4*exam + 14 The checked homework assignments will be returned to your cells by Sunday. I also uploaded a "common mistakes file" for hw2 |

This exam counts as MoedA for those who didn't attend the exam on Sunday, or as a possible date for MoedB for those who attended last week's exam. The exams will be returned to your HW cells (according to your two last id digits) during Sunday. We will hold during the following weeks another exam for those who didn't attend the exam on Sunday, or attended and want a "Moet Bet". If you want to take part in it from either reason, please send Ohad a list of "banned dates" in which taking the exam will be unfeasible for you until Sunday evening, so we will be able to work out a date that suits all the students. |

There was some (justified) confusion regarding the last section in the last question, so we replaced this question with another one regarding CRHF, see the updated hw2 file. Please stick strictly to the CRHF definition given in class while solving this new question. The submission date is delayed again as a compensation for the 28.2 (Thursday) Good luck! |

Please note the following: * I added the "hw1_common_mistakes" file, that lists the common mistakes made, explains why they are wrong and include the grade penalty for each mistake. *It is clear to me that one or two students copied their solutions (and not just the way of solving), from others. Such cases will be seriously handled, shall they repeat on hw2. |
