Some guidelines for project presentation: 1. Prepare a powerpoint with a few slides. 2. There will be 10-15 min to present your project to the course's staff in room 601. This time includes the setup time, so prepare accordingly! 3. The focus will be on the implementation of challenges, and not on the basics of lab6. |

Special instructions for personal at the Technion during COVID-19 | |

Following is a list of COVID-19 related instructions that you should follow when you are at the Technion for the exam: (1) Sign a statement of proper health here: https://gates.technion.ac.il/technion-statement-of-proper-heat/ (2) Download and install the "Technion" application to your phone. This application has the "תו הסגול" feature which you will need to use (3) Use the application to log your entrance to every building using the QR code placed thereץ (4) Keep a safe distance of 2 meters from other people, especially when entering a class room. (5) You MUST wear a mask to enter the exam room. Students without a mask will not be admitted. (6) You must leave the Technion as soon as you finish the exam. (7) You must wash your hands before entering class. (8) Doors will be left open, such that it is possible to open them without using your hands. Again, the instructions regarding the submission format and your questionary template file are clear! Please follow them correctly and you are not going to lose penalty points! 2) We don't accept appeals for the dry part. - To get 80 in lab 6 you should successfully run the grading script and implement one challenge. Especially, pay attention to Exercise 11---you should use interrupts to transmit or to receive packets, ideally to do both. - To get 90 you need to implement another challenge. - To get 100 you need to propose your own challenge (or extend an existing challenge) and implement it. - Exceptional projects can get up to 105 points |

How we grade the course | |
|
The final grade will be composed of: 30% of quiz grade 35% of labs1-5 grade 35% of final project grade Please note that to get 100 points for the project, you must go beyond the elementary requirement stated in the lab, and this includes all possible projects, and not only the NIC driver. For example, in the project that implements swap support. You need to go beyond a simple implementation. For instance, implement more than one swapping algorithm and show the differences between the two algorithms to get 100 points. |
