Lectures: Sunday, 14:30-16:30.
Recitations: Wednesday, 14:30-16:30 (recitation and problem solving practice).
Attendance is not mandatory.
The course will be given in Hebrew.
The lectures and the recitations will also be broadcast via Zoom and recorded. The recordings will be available to the course students for the duration of the semester, including its exam period. Please do not redistribute the recordings.
Grading will be 100% based on a number of homework assignments to be submitted individually; the grade will be a affine function (to be determined based on the final success statistics) of the grand total of points awarded for solving the questions in the exercises (the maximum number of points will be stated for each question). The last assignment will be given at the end of the semester (this is possible because there is no test), and will have a long deadline.
The course staff reserves the right to interview any (or all) of the students (in person or via Zoom) regarding their homework solutions, and adjust the grades accordingly. For example, we are likely to summon a student for an interview if for some reason we are unsure whether they understand their own submission.
Grading will be by hand, except automatic originality checks (such as "Was this written with AI?"). Submissions that appear AI-assisted are likely to trigger a student interview. So are exact duplicate submissions.
