The Moed A exam would be held on 5-Feb 9:00am at Fishbach 404/405. No material would be allowed into the classrooms. For the open questions we supply relevant cheat-sheets - you can see "auxiliary pages" in the material section. Note that we only supply the relevant pages for the open questions. Therefore, for example, if the exam does not include an OpenMP question, the OpenMP cheat-sheet would not be supplied; this holds even if there is a multiple-choice question regarding OpenMP. You are allowed to bring calculator to the exam. Obviously, you are not allowed to bring cellphone, or any calculator that has wireless connectivity. Information regarding reception hours before the exam would follow. |

CDP servers connection issues | |
|
Some of the servers names which were sent are slightly wrong. The servers you need to use are named ds-bl20X.cs.technion.ac.il Remember that connection can only be established while you are connected to the Technion network, so you may need to connect to T2 first. You may wish to use ssh-tunneling to ease your life (google it, as it is done differently in different ssh clients). Then you would also be able to use scp clients such as CyberDuck to copy files directly to/from the server. |

Welcome to the CDP course. The recitation "Threads in Java" will be held on the first week. You are expected to review "Introduction to Java" slides (in the recitations section) to get familiar with Java, which will be needed for the first homework assignment. Good luck! |
