Reception hours before Moed B | |

Due to the holiday and associated closure of the Technion, we will only host a single reception hour. Please do use the Piazza forum in order to ask questions before the tests and we will do our best to answer your questions. You should also try answering each other's questions, that's a good way to study too. Matan will hold a reception hour in Taub 313 (if needed we will move to a larger room, look for a note near the door) on Wednesday (2022-10-19) at 14:00. There will be no Zoom link, if you can't come please use Piazza. Good luck and חג שמח! |

The grades as you see them in WebCourse are now final, and will be submitted to the secretariat shortly and updated in the Technion systems. If something went terribly wrong (e.g., the appeal response says your grade should have been adjusted but it wasn't), please e-mail Matan. |

Please note that Moed A grades were published. The exams were sent to Ulman for scanning, and should be available tomorrow. Your scan should include the multiple choice form, if it doesn't please notify the staff. Once scans are available the appeal period will begin, until the end of exams. Please use the faculty form for appealing, and submit a PDF as an appeal in the assignments section of the website. Don't include your entire scan, we already have it. You may include snippets if they help explain your point. A good appeal will explain why what you wrote on the exam is actually correct; there is no point in appealing the rubric. |

The final HW assignment (takef) is now in the assignments section of the website. Take care when submitting your assignments to use the right submission box. The TA in charge is Alon. Submission day is June 30th, the final day of the semester. Note that due to Technion policy, assignments must not be due after the end of the semester, so no extensions will be given except for the usual exceptions (Miluim, hospitalizations). Late submission with penalty will also be permitted. This assignment is challenging in that it requires you to use a new tool, LLVM IR. Please use the alloted time wisely and start planning your solution early. |

Homework 1 submission date has been postponed | |

Due to the special circumstances of last semester's special examination dates bleeding into the current semester, we have decided to postpone the due date of homework 1 to Thursday, April 14th. Late submission will be accepted for this submission, but because this is already an extension and as we do not want you doing assignments during Passover break, we are counting the days as usual for the purposes of the late submission penalty. That is, submitting on the 15th or the 16th (Passover Eve and Day) carries a 5 point penalty, submitting on the 17th a 10 pt penalty, and on the 18th a 15pt penalty. No submissions will be accepted after that. Homework 2 will be posted after we return from the break. Note that the syllabus tab contains the expected publication and due dates for all assignments this semester. |
