Moed C Exam

The Moed C exam will be held on Thursday, May 6th, 16:00 - 19:00, Taub 701. The exam is with "closed material". During the exam you will be given 'dapei-ezer' with a summary of the course material. You can find these summary pages on the course website under the Additional Materials Tab. Please note that only eligible and approved students can attend the Moed C. If you have been approved for the exam, please bring the proper papers with you for verification purposes. |

Moed B and Final Grades

Moed B and final grades have been published, and the exams have been returned to the secretariat. Final grades were calculated as follows: (1) 5% factor was given to the exam grade, (2) 2% MAGEN was given for each homework exercise (even if the exam grade was under 55). Regarding appeals: - Appeals may be submitted until Thursday, 8/4/2010. No appeals will be accepted after this date. - To submit as appeal, email it to Tamar. Write your appeal as a Word or PDF document and attach it to the email. For every question you appeal, please reference the relevant page numbers in your exam scan. You do not need to attach the exam scan to the appeal. Written appeals will not be accepted. - Please appeal only in cases when you think a correct answer was marked as a mistake. Do not appeal the AMOUNT of points deducted for a mistake. |

Schedule Changes due to Hanukkah

There was a small mistake in Question 5.b of Homework 3. The first direction of the proof should show that epsilon is in the language of the expressions and not that the languages are equal to epsilon. A corrected version of the exercise has been posted on the course website. |
