HW2 - Question 4 - A problem was fixed | |

The SERVER.EXE file that was included in the zip file for question 4 didn't match the Visual Studio project that was given. Therefore, if you compiled the project, you got a different executable that requires a different payload for the buffer overflow attack. This problem is now fixed and the updated file (qu4_files_updated.zip) contains the right SERVER.EXE. This is the only change to the zip file. The visual studio project and it's source files have NOT been changed. Please download the new SERVER.EXE and work with it. Regards, Course staff. |
