This introductory course stands at the base of the vast Computer Graphic world, whose outcome we see in mechanical engineering and industrial modeling, entertainment, medical applications and many other fields.
The course is given as part of the CGGC group.
The course will cover basic 3D representations and transformations techniques, shading and rendering methods, and a few selected advanced topics.
Grading Policy:
Exercises (Mandatory): 40%
HW1: MFC Intro 5%
HW2: Wire-frame rendering and 3D transformations 10%
HW3: Scan-conversion and Z buffering and texture mapping 10%
HW4: Advanced selection 15%
Exam: 60%
Moed A: February 12th 2025
Moed B: March 9th 2025
There will be a “Rendering Competition” with 3 extra points (in the final grade) for 1st place, 2 extra points for 2nd place, and 1 extra point to 3rd place
