The Exam (Moed B) was Checked

Exam B grades are available via GR++. Your scanned exams will be available online soon. The appeals should be submitted until 19.10.2014 (Sunday) to the mailbox of Meirav Zehavi on the 5th floor. Note: it does *not* mean that Meirav Zehavi will check all these appeals. The appeals should be written on the standard appeal form (available near the secretary) and you should attach the copy of the exam (including all questions), otherwise the appeals will not be considered. The "oral" appeals are not accepted. The average of the exam grade (ExamB) before the factor is 63.80. The average of the exam grade (FactorB) after the factor is 66.80, where the factor was calculated: FactorB = Min(ExamB+3,100) The average of the final grade (FinalB) is 68.46, where your final grade was calculated: FinalB = Min(100, Round((0.8*FactorB + 0.05*Max(FactorB,HW1) + 0.05*Max(FactorB,HW2)+ 0.05*Max(FactorB,HW3)+ 0.05*Max(FactorB,HW4)))) ----------------------------------- Informally, the only reason to submit an appeal is if you think that the checker was wrong or did not understand what did you wrote. Note also that the grading is based on what was written in the exam and not on what you had in mind during the exam. |

Exam B

The exam (Moed B) will take place on Monday, 29.09.2014, at 9:00. The exam is scheduled for 2.5 hours. The rooms are Taub 4, 6 and 7. The exam is with open material, and includes everything you learned in lectures and tutorials. Calculators are allowed (disconnected from the outer world. You will not be allowed to use your cellular phone's calculator). We will hold the following reception hours before the exam: Hagit - 23.09.2014 (Tuesday) 14:30-15:30 Meirav - 28.09.2014 (Sunday), 10:30-11:30 Since the MOED ALEPH exam was before July 8, the last grade, and not the best grade, will be considered when calculating the final grade (except for those who served in Miluim).
