Moed B grades are now published. Appeals can be submitted until Sunday, October 16th. Appeals should be submitted on the standard appeal form and placed in the COURSE BOX on the first floor. Dear Students, 1) The final exam (moed bet) will take place on Monday, September 26th, from 13:00 until 16:00 at Taub 4,5,6,7,8,9. 2) You are not allowed to bring any material to the exam. We will hand out a summary page, which is already published on the course website under "Course Material". Note that this summary page does not necessarily cover all the material. All topics that were taught in all the lectures, tutorials and exercises are included in the material for the exam. 3) The exam includes questions which are very similar to questions from the home assignments. The total weight of those questions in the exam is at least 10 points. Final Exam - Information

A few scheduling announcements: 1. Noa's tutorial group (Sunday, 11:30), is PERMANENTLY canceled. Students are requested to attend the tutorials of the other groups. 2. Noa's office hours for the rest of the semester will be on Sundays, 11:30-12:30. 3. There will be no tutorial this week for Dudu's Monday group (16/5). 4. There was an error in our previous message. As there are no studies in the Technion next Monday (because of Yok HaZikaron) there will be no tutorial on that day. Cancelation of a tutorial for Dudu's Monday group and a complementary one.

Dudu's Monday group tutorial on the 16/5 is cancel. A complementary tutorial for Dudu's Monday group will be given on Sunday 8/5, 16:30 in Taub 6. Meaning, the schedule for Dudu's Monday group is as follows: 8/5, 16:30 in Taub 6 - A complementary tutorial on "Graphs introduction". 9/5, 14:30 in Tuab 6 - A regular tutorial on "Undirected trees". 16/5 - The tutorial is canceled. 23/5 and so on - regular tutorials as usual. Students who cannot attend this complementary tutorial can attend the tutorial of one of the other groups or watch the filmed tutorial on the relevant subject. Course Staff. |

HW1 has been checked and was returned to the secretariat. Your grades are in the system and a solution will soon be available under the "home assignments" tab. Your grade is either 1 (pass) or 0 (fail), additionally each work received a grade from 1-100 reflecting its quality, that grade has no effect on your overall course grade. Not all of the questions were checked. As a result, even though many mistakes were made, most students got a passing grade. Please compare your solutions to the official solution to find your mistakes in the ungraded questions. In addition, the published solution will contain descriptions of common mistakes. You may benefit from reading them even if you did not make those mistakes yourselves. Grades below 80 usually reflect poor knowledge of the course material. Students who got less than 80 are highly encouraged to review the material again. |

A complementary lecture for Yuval's Wednesday group will be given this Wednesday, 16:30-18:30 in Taub 1 (again, note that teaching is performed according to Sunday schedule on that day). Students who cannot attend this complementary lecture can attend the lecture of the Thursday group on 24/3. 3. A complementary tutorial for Yaniv's Wednesday group will be given on Sunday 27/3, 16:30 in Taub 6.
