First login, Mailing List & Grades Auto-update

How do I login to the course site for the first time?

The latest information on how to login the first time and how to register to the mailing list is available in https://grades.cs.technion.ac.il/help.cgi (please scroll there down a few pages)

I'm not getting emails from the course. Why?

A welcome message was sent. If you do not recieve it please follow the instructions in the link below in https://grades.cs.technion.ac.il/help.cgi Older, somewhat inaccurate, instructions of how to add yourself to the course are listed in the link below.

Attending Tutorials & Lectures

Is attendance mandatory?

Attendance in the Technion is not mandatory, and will not be checked. If you choose not to attend lectures or tutorials, it is your responsibility to study the material by yourself, and keep updated with everything mentioned and said in class.

Can I attend tutorials and lecture groups for which I am not registered?

Yes. It does not matter which tutorial or lecture you are registered to, you are allowed to attend the classes which best suit your preferences. We will not enforce people to attend their registered groups unless there is overcrowding in a class or another has become empty.
