Could the video be a substitute for the lectures? | |
The video is not a substitute for the lectures. Current videos are only for the second part of the course, and in any case, students who cannot attend the lectures should use books and be in contact with students who attend the lectures to get updates about the progress, worked examples, and information conveyed in the class. Most of the material of the second part of the course is covered by the video, but the details and order may vary. There are no videos for the first part of the course. |
What is the weight of the home assignments in the final grade? | |
If the exam grade is 55 or higher, the home assignments weight will be 15%. Otherwise, their weight will be 0. |
Are the grades of the homeworks compulsory (takef) ? | |
Yes. |
Should the HW be submitted in pairs? | |
HW submission is in pairs. In special cases, submission in singles may be approved. |
Can I transfer the HW grade from the previous semesters? | |
You can transfer the HW grade only if you submitted the HW in the last semester. To transfer your grades send an e-mail to TA in charge with your name and i.d. number. You can do it only during the first month of the semester. |
What is the final exam policy? | |
The final exam will be with Homer Sagur. Each student may bring formula pages according to the policy that will be announced towards the exam. These pages are personal and cannot be transfered during the exam. Calculators with programming/graphics and cellular phones are not allowed |
What about HOVERET MIVHANIM? | |
It is strongly reccomended to solve all previous exams before the final exam, but you should take in account that the solutions were given by other students and so they are not 100% exact and may be incomplete. |
What is the HW appeals policy? | |
You could appeal your HW grade during 2 weeks after it has been posted. No appeals on HW grades will be accepted after exam grades are published. You should submit your appeal to the TA in charge by email (see the course info. file for details). |
