More on the postponed exam | |

Hi all, I hope you are all doing well. As announced earlier today, the exam has been postponed to Wednesday (we will announce the exact time when we have it). Students who due to *exceptional* circumstances cannot take the exam on Wednesday, will be able to take a Moed C. This includes students who have exams on Thursday or Friday (but not the week after). Other students who believe they fall in this category should send an email to Tomer or me and get prior approval. I want to emphasize that I don't know yet when the Moed C will be held. We will do our best to make it convenient for all but we cannot commit that it will be possible to accommodate all requests. Best wishes to all, Ron |

Hi all, Please type your homework assignments in LaTeX. For your convenience we added a .tex template file you can use. If you have not used LaTeX before, we highly recommend you to use Overleaf - a free online LaTeX compiler. For any questions regarding how to use LaTeX, chatGPT is a great source. If you have already made significant progress in your homework using a different text editor, we will make an exception just for the first assignment and accept works written in a different editor. In any case, the assignments must be typed, not handwritten. Good luck! Tomer |

Hi all, The first few lectures will be recorded and posted online. However, I do not guarantee that all lectures will be recorded. This is an advanced class where participation in class is really important, and I highly advise students who are unlikely to be able to attend most lectures not to take the course. The one exception is people who are likely to do a lot of reserve duty. Such students are kindly asked to contact either me or Tomer, and we'll try to find a solution.
