Moed B grades and appeals | |
| Moed B grades and final grades have been published. We noticed that question 3c proved troublesome for many students and decided to remove it. Everyone got 7 points for that question. Any points that you should have gotten for 3c based on your answer were treated as a bonus. The exam factor (in addition to the 7 points for 3c) is 4 points (11 including 3c) and weights of the homeworks are as published. Exam scans will be up soon. You can appeal until Sunday 21/10 by the end of the day. Guidelines for appeals are the same as in Moed A: 1. Send appeals by email to Hila. 2. State the question you appeal on and the reason for the appeal. 3. Appeals should be made *only* in the case where the answer was correct, but points were deducted. Appeals about the number of points deducted for partial answers will not be accepted. 4. Mark the part where there was an error in grading and add this as picture to the mail. If your picture does not show the page number, state the page number. 5. We sometime recheck the whole exam. Note that your grade may decrease due to this overall evaluation. |

| A zip file with the tests has been published under HW5. It also includes a weights.txt file specifying each test's weight. Unless you have "No" in the HW5_may_resubmit column, you can resubmit your solution. The resubmit deadline is July 18. Please read resubmission guidelines under "General Info". Resubmit by sending your fixed solution to Hila by email, and specify the location of your fix and how many lines of code were changed. |

| 1. In case you don't have it in your calendar, the exam is on Wed 4/7 at 13:00. 2. There will be an exam prep session with Avner and Hila on Tuesday. 3. You can email us with any exam questions you would like to see solved in the prep session. 4. The exam is closed book (that is, no materials allowed). You will have a formula sheet provided for you with the exam, you can find it on the site under course material. |

| Notice that you should build upon your implementation of hw3, so it's a good idea to first make sure you pass all the tests that were published before you start. There is a suggested todo list for breaking the assignment into tasks at the end. This assignment is not easy or short, and we urge you to start early. |
