דוחות סופיים ומפגשי סיום | |

שלום לכולם זמני מפגשי הסיום שלכם תואמו אתכם באמצעות המנחים. אם טרם תואמו, אנא פנו למנחים לתיאום בדחיפות. 7 ימים לפני המפגש שלכם יש להגיש דוח מסכם באתר. פרטים על הדרישות ממנו נמצאים באתר. יש לאשר את הדוח אצל המנחה לפני ההגשה. כל המפגשים יתנהלו במעבדת הסייבר חדר 233 (מעבדת רשתות וסייבר, כניסה דרך 234). למפגש הסיום הכינו מצגת של כ-15-20 דקות, לאחריה צוות הקורס ישאל אתכם שאלות כ-10 דקות נוספות. אנא בצעו חזרה מראש, וודאו שהמצגת שלכם תואמת לזמן המוקצב. סביר שתגבילו את המצגת לכ-12-15 שקפים לכל היותר כדי לעמוד בזמנים (אבל גם דאגו שהדברים החשובים יפורטו במצגת...). פתחנו באתר שלושה תרגילי בית להגשות הבאות: 1. דוח מסכם, להגשה עד 7 ימים לפני מפגש הסיום שלכם. תוכלו לקבל הארכה על פי בקשה פרטנית עד 4 ימים לפני מפגש הסיום שלכם. אל תשכחו לאשר את הדוח המסכם אצל המנחה לפני ההגשה באתר. 2. את המצגת שתציגו במפגש אתם מתבקשים להגיש באתר עד שעה 08:00 ביום של ההצגה שלכם. 3. כמו כן תוכלו לצרף קוד, וכל דבר רלוונטי אחר בתרגיל בית נוסף שמיועד לכך. הערות: * אנא ודאו לפני ההגשה שהדו"ח כולל את הדרישות הנמצאות באתר הקורס. * תוכלו לראות דוגמאות משנים קודמות באתר (במגוון רמות של עמידה בדרישות). * מי שהשאיל ציוד לצורך הפרוייקט מתבקש לתאם את החזרתו לפני מפגש הסיום. * חלק מהמנחים עשויים לבקש הגשה מוקדם יותר ממה שתואר לעיל כדי להספיק לקרא, להעיר, ולאשר. במקרה כזה, הגישו כפי שהמנחים יבקשו, אך לא אחרי הזמן לעיל. * ההגשה באתר בלבד. בהצלחה |

C2C CTF comptition in Japan | |

[[ The C2C competition was organized by the Technion two years ago and by MIT last year, and will be hosted by Keio university in Japan this year. The Technion Cyber Center reserved funds for travel of students to the finals in Japan. Depending on the number of students, we might fund the full travel costs. Housing and food will be provided by the Japanese host. Important timeline: • Registration: now to End of April • Qualifier event: Early May • Final CTF competition in Japan (Tentative): August 1-4 See the letter of the organizers below: ]] Dear Sir/Madam, The International Cyber Security – Center of Excellence (INCS-CoE) is delighted to invite your students to participate in its 4th international, Country-to-Country (C2C) Capture the Flag (CTF) competition C2C-CTF. This is part of a five-year academic plan to host cybersecurity competitions in five different countries. C2C will extend past experiences and lessons learned from the successful Cambridge2Cambridge CTF, with its global vision to entice thousands of people worldwide to study cybersecurity at the university level. The C2C-CTF is an exciting opportunity for students to work together as international teams to solve interesting CTF challenges, while learning new skills, socializing, and promoting international collaboration and friendship. This year, C2C-CTF 2023, organized and hosted by Keio University, will take place in-person at Keio University Campus in Japan. The organizing committee of C2C 2023 invites students’ enrollment at UG/Grad/PhD level from universities that are based in the UK, USA, Japan, Israel, EU, and Australia to apply to participate. Through a qualifying process, students will be selected to compete individually in the qualifiers event in early May, 2023. After passing the qualifiers, students will be organized into teams of five from different universities to encourage international academic collaboration. These teams will compete in the final event on August 1st-4th, 2023 as the tentative plan. The confirmed details with program, dates, location will be announced later. As part of the competition and educational process, we will hold webinars and providing testing environment where students learn and discuss on cybersecurity issues. We intend to create diverse teams for the competition. We aim to select competitors from a broad range of backgrounds, nationalities, languages, genders, experiences, and cybersecurity skills. We seek motivated and resourceful participants who enjoy a tough intellectual challenge in a cooperative international context -- we are not merely looking at experts who have won other hacking competitions.
