על כל סטודנט המעוניין לגשת לבחינה, להגיש את מטלת ההרשמה הפתוחה כעת באתר הקורס, ואשר תיסגר בערב שלפני הבחינה. יש להגיש מסמך המכיל שם ות.ז. עצם ההגשה מהווה חתימה על טופס "נוהל בחינות מקוונות תשפ"א", התחייבות על ויתור סודיות והצהרת טוהר הבחינות, וכן על מסמך נהלים שבמטלה |

תחת "מבחנים קודמים" נוסף קובץ עם טבלאות ריקות שימושיות לבחינה. למי שאין גישה למדפסת במהלך הבחינה מומלץ להדפיס את הטבלאות הריקות לפני הבחינה. |

A few clarifications for Lecture 7 OOO | |

Assume an instruction X with architectural destination register Rj, is allocated a physical destination register PRi. When the instruction X finishes its execution - Match the instruction's physical register, PRi, against the psychical sources of each instruction in the RS, and write the value of PRi to all matching sources in the RS. - Write the value of PRi also in the ROB entry of instruction X As long as no subsequent instruction have Rj as architectural destination register, and as long as instruction X does not retire, Rj remains mapped to PRi - For subsequent instructions allocated to the RS that have Rj as architectural source, their source is mapped to PRi, and they get the value of PRi from instruction X ROB entry. - This value is written as the source data in the RS upon allocation (and marked data valid). When instruction X commits - Copy the value from the physical register, PRi, to the architectural register Rj - If the current mapping of the instruction’s architectural destination register, Rj, is still the physical register allocated to the instruction, PRi, set Rj’s mapping to be architectural - mapped to Rj in the RRF As long as no subsequent instruction have Rj as architectural destination register - For subsequent instructions allocated to the RS that have Rj as architectural source, their source is mapped to the architectural register Rj, and they get the value of Rj from the RRF |
