HW3 and HW4 grades

Dear students,

HW3 and HW4 grades and feedback are now available in the GR++ system.
If you got zero or did not get a grade, it's usually due to missing submission or code (in the wet parts) that did not compile (could be due to a faulty makefile or an incorrect zip file structure).

Appeals:
  • Appeals can be submitted electronically until 05/03/2023.
  • Please type your appeals – handwritten appeals will not be checked.
  • Please do not send appeals through emails to TAs, appeal mail will not be accepted and will not be answered.
  • For wet parts appeals:
    • You got an option to submit an appeal with code resubmission for the wet part (only with minor changes) that costs a 10-point reduction.
    • Submissions that received a grade above 90 are not eligible for this option.
    • Choosing this option requires you to resubmit your code (only with minor changes) alongside a text/PDF file that explains the changes you have made.
    • Accepted minor changes are: fixing typos or modifying up to 5 lines of code.

Clarification regarding code resubmission for wet appeals

Dear students,

You got an option to appeal on wet parts with a code resubmission, but please note the appeal requirements:
  • only minor changes are allowed.
  • code resubmission costs a 10-point penalty.
  • submissions that received a grade above 90 are not eligible for this option.
  • you should include a text/PDF file that explains your changes.
  • accepted minor changes are: fixing typos or modifying up to 5 lines of code.

Ori will hold a 1-hour complementary tutorial tomorrow, Wednesday 23/11/2022, from 9:30--10:30, in addition to his regular tutorial.
The complementary tutorial will be recorded for those who cannot attend.

Clarifications regarding Mohammad's tutorial tomorrow (Sunday 06/11/2022)

Dear students,

Please note that Mohammad's complementary tutorial tomorrow will be held in addition to the regular tutorial, which will be a 1-hour session.

Just to clarify, Mohammad will hold two sessions tomorrow as follows:
1) a 1-hour session at 13:30--14:30 (due to the ceremony in memory of Yitzhak Rabin at 12:30--13:30), in Taub 5.
2) a 2-hours complementary session at 16:30--18:30, in Taub 7.

HW0 is out and assignments' expected release/due dates are available

Dear students,

(1) Homework 0 is published and can be found in the "Assignments" section. Although HW0 is not for submission,
you *must* complete it to acquire the tools and skills needed for the next home assignments.

(2) There will be four home assignments this semester. Please plan ahead; the deadlines are strict because we must finish all assignments before the semester ends.
The assignments have not been published yet, but their expected publication dates and due dates can be found on the Assignments page.
Please note that the expected publication and due dates are just "expected" dates and they may be changed slightly.

(3) Please make sure you register with the Piazza forum.
All the Q&A regarding this home assignment are managed there; please don't send e-mails with questions to the TAs.
When you post a new question in the Piazza forum, please tag it appropriately (hw0).
