לאור דעיכה מפתיעה בנוכחות הסטודנטים בשבועיים האחרונים, אנו מתחילים לרשום נוכחות אי הנוכחות משפיעה לעיתים על שאלות (בסיסיות מידי - עקב ההיעדרויות) ששואלים אותנו בשיעור ובתירגול, וגם על קצב ההתקדמות, דבר הפוגע בסטודנטים שכן מקפידים להגיע, ובכלל פוגע בקוהרנטיות של הקורס אם יש הזקוקים לשיעור השלמה - בבקשה לפנות בהודעה פרטית, חבל שאנשים מתנתקים ואז גם מתייאשים. בשמחה אעזור למי שמתקשים (מכל סיבה שהיא), אבל פחות כיף לעזור למי שמזלזלים. בברכה, טל |

several important issues

a. We want to complete the one-hour we missed in the first week due to Rabin's ceremony. So the students run a POLE about when to do it: This Wednesday? Sunday 23'rd? Wednesday 26'th? It is urgent in case the majority want the class to be THIS WEDNESDAY. On Wednesdays it can be at 12:30 or at 13:30. On a Sunday it can be at 17:00. In the pole, please only write when you absolutely cannot. b. Please join the group WhatsApp - only a few did not join it yet. Link can be found in the "cheesefork". The POLE can then be found in the group WhatsApp. c. We permanently move to TAUB 301. d. Please be aware that it is a floor for the administration of CS, and not for students and not for classes. But because of the problem with TAUB 3 we are allowed to be there.... But only for these two hours of our class. |

HW Assignments

Dear students, I repeat what I said in class regarding HW: There'll be 5 assignment, every two weeks, roughly. All assignments should be handed for 20% of the final grades (4% each). You can work in pairs, but make sure each of the partners are familiar with the different exercises. All submission must be typed (using Word, Lyx, Latex or whatever editor you prefer) and submitted in the web course in pdf format. HW1 will be uploaded in few minutes. A. Added into course material CLASS 1c - this is a material you already saw. B. The secretary keeps for us room 301 on the third flour. I will check it tomorrow, and inform you if we will move to that room. C. You missed a class on the first week (Rabin's ceremony). We will probably teach it this coming Wednesday, during the standard time for adding lectures. It will most probably be a lecture, and not a tutorial. Let's hope for a quiet week :-) [in all respects] |

Hi all, Due to the Rabin memorial ceremony, the first hour of the first lecture is canceled. It will be given later the same day, instead of the tutorial. We will make up for the canceled tutorial at a later date (we’ll let you know when). So on Nov 3rd we'll have: Lecture 13:30-14:30 (instead of 12:30-14:30) - Taub 3.
