Or's makeup lecture will be held tomorrow (05.11.2025, 12:30) at Meyer 165 (מאייר 165), and not at Taub 2 as we originally stated. CS236781 HW1 is now out

HW 1 is now available for download on the course website, and you should be able to solve it with the material covered in the first week. The HW is due on November 24, 2025, and we would accept late submissions under the late policy, which can be found in the information_sheet.pdf. We highly recommend starting the assignment early to allow enough time for solving and asking us questions. Questions about the HW can be asked on the Piazza forum and in the office hours. The first lecture (Monday, 3/11/2025) will start in delay at 13:30 for the Rabin Memorial Ceremony. The makeup lecture will be held on Wednesday at 12:30 - 13:30 in Taub 2. A recording will also be made available. |

Wednesday (Moshe's group) complementary tutorial for this week

Dear students, Due to reserve duty, this week’s tutorial cannot take place as planned. Instead, we will have a Zoom tutorial today (Sunday, 2.11.25) at 19:00. Tutorial 0 and Tutorials cancellation on the first week

Hello students, Since the semester begins this Wednesday, the first two tutorials (Moshe's on Wednesday and Itay's on Thursday) will be cancelled. A makeup tutorial will be scheduled near the end of the term. We have published the "Tutorial 0" recording under the course materials, along with links to useful resources to help you familiarize yourselves with some basics. We highly recommend watching the tutorial if you are not familiar with Conda, NumPy, or broadcasting. If you are not familiar with Python, we recommend completing the exercises as well. A reception hour for this tutorial will be held by Amir on October 30, 2025, at 12:30. You can attend in person at Taub 7 or online via Zoom: https://technion.zoom.us/j/3832426873.
