You are permitted to use a calculator and up to 6 double-sided A4 sheets (12 pages) of your choice with any written material. Homework 2 grades | |

Dear Students, Homework 2 grades have been published. The grades were computed as follows: 50% for the wet part and 50% for the dry part. Appeals: Appeals are allowed only on the dry part of Homework 2. Resubmission: You are permitted to resubmit both the wet part and the dry part. Only minor changes will be accepted for the resubmission of the wet part, mainly concerning technical issues. No new code submissions are allowed. If you resubmit the wet part, you must also submit a PDF document detailing the changes made to your original code. 10 points will be deducted from the final grade of Homework 2 for resubmission of either the wet part or the dry part. If you resubmit both parts, there will be a 15-point deduction in total. Submission Details: All appeals/resubmissions of the homework must be sent to Gal's email. Please mention in the subject line whether you are resubmitting or appealing. The deadline for the resubmission/appeal is 25.8.2024 |

Shir's tutorials and reception hour next week | |

Shir's tutorial on Sunday at 16:30 will take place in Taub 8. The tutorials on Tuesday, both at 14:30 and 15:30, will take place in Taub 9. The reception hour will be right after them (in Taub). Please note that in particular, the regular tutorial is moved from Ullman to Taub. |

Shir will hold two sessions of tutorial 12 (the last tutorial) next week: One on Sunday, 18.8, at 16:30, and another one on Tuesday, 20.8, at 15:30 (after the regular lesson). Both locations are TBD. Erez's tutorial will be cancelled, so students from both Tuesday and Thursday groups can attend either of Shir’s sessions (tutorials 11 and 12 are independent of each other). Dear students, Welcome to the course! Next week, we will have the first lecture at 12:30 in Kahn 6 (Mechanical Eng.), as published at the Technion portal. Then, there will be two changes: (1) On Wednesday (June 6th, 3 days after the first lecture), we will have a compensation lecture at 12:30. The lecture will take place in Taub 1. (2) The next Sunday (June 9th, a week after the first lecture), I will be absent due to a conference abroad.
