Administration FAQ

I have taken the DB course before. Can I transfer my homework grades?

You can transfer H.W. grades under the following limitations: 1. You can transfer the H.W. average grade from previous semester (Winter 2008-2009). 2. It is also possible to transfer only the grade of the wet exercise from the last semester or the one preceding it (winter 2008-9 or spring 2008) as long as it wasn't already transfered once before. (For example if you transfered the wet exercise grade from winter 2007-8 to spring 2008 you can't transfer it again) Please send your requests to naamat@cs.

I was in reserve duty. Can I get postponement for the exercise?

If your reserve duty overlapped the time between the poblication of the exercise and the submition date then you deserve postponement. The postponement length depends on the number of overlapped days. You will get 1 day postponement for each day of the first 5 days and additional 1 day postponement for each 2 day of the rest of the overlapped days. If both partners are in reserve duty at the same time then we will consider that case separately.

H.W. late submissions

No late sumbission will be accepted to any of the H.W. exercises (Not even under reduction of points) Special rare cases like "My partner abandoned the course two days before submission date" will be handled separately.
