Grades for HW5 are posted. If you do not have a grade you may have been flagged for plagiarism. Submissions from repeating students that did not follow the instructions for adapting them to this semester currently receive a 0. If you simply did not replace the file with cg.* as instructed, you can resubmit: replacing bp.* with cg.* and changing the includes will be counted as freebies. If these are the ONLY changes you make, there will be no resubmit penalty. We will open resubmission for HW5 after Rosh Hashana, Final grades will be submitted to ulman once appeals are graded. |

Miluim accommodations for the exam | |
|
The miluim accommodation for this semester's exams will be as follows: In each of the three sections, 1) multiple choice questions, 2) syntax, 3) analysis, one skipped or incorrect question/clause will be disregarded and the percentage of remaining points will determine the grade for the entire section. For example, Alex solves the exam and in the multiple choice is incorrect in one 3pt question and one 6pt question. In the analysis question Alex leaves one 10pt clause blank and scored 18 points in the remaining sections. In the syntax question Alex writes "I don't know" on the whole question. Alex's grade will be computed as follows: The multiple choice section is originally 36 out of 45 points. The 6 point question will be removed, leaving Alex with (36/39)*45 points for the section, or 42 points. Likewise, in the analysis question, since a 10 point clause was skipped, Alex's points will be (18/20)*30=27 points. In the syntax question, Alex marked "I don't know", giving all clauses 20%. Removing the highest scoring clause of, for example, 10 points, leaves 3/15, which are still 20%, which will still leave 20% of the question's 25 points. |

Hello, We have received several questions about the new CG file. If you are repeating the course and plan to resubmit the solution you submitted last semester, please follow these steps: 1. Include the cg.* files in your submission. 2. Remove any bp.* files from your submission. 3. Run a self-check on your code to ensure everything is functioning as expected. 4. Optionally, you can test your code using your own test cases. If everything is working correctly, you can resubmit without changes. If any issues arise, you'll need to adjust your code accordingly. The cg.* files contain all the functions you used in the previous semester. If your solution followed the previous semester's instructions, everything should work fine.
