This is a theoretic course of Computer Science. We will learn definitions of formal languages, formal grammers, and mathematical computational models such as finite state automata and others. During the semester, we will publish 6 dry HW assignments, to be submitted in pairs. Each assignment submitted, entitles you to 3% MAGEN to the final grade, a typed submission will entitle the submitted HW grade with 10% bonus. This semester, there will be no quizzes during the semester. You are encouraged to submit the HW assignments in order to keep in touch with the material.The reception hours of the TAs will be replaced by a weekly 2-hour workshop (SADNA) which will take place on Sundays 12:30-14:30 except for the first week.
