Ultimatively, the best and the most updated technical book on advanced CORBA programming so far. Leaves very few topics uncovered. They say this book to CORBA is what Stevens to TCP/IP. The authors are world-famous consultants in the field who know the standard long before it is officially published. The book explains both CORBA concepts and technical issues of programming with C++. It is also highly recommended for people who already know the basics of CORBA programming with Java. | |

One of the best books describing CORBA programming with C++, but also valuable for Java programming. Contains relatively few stuff specific for Orbix and can be used for any ORB. Probably the only book on CORBA that manages to be concise, laconic and clear at the same time. Very well organized, but lacks description of some services. | |
