Syllabus: Introduction to the internet and the TCP/IP. The IP layer. Internal and external routing protocols. Comparison between vector-distance and link-state protocols. BGP and policy-based routing. Multicast protocols. The TCP protocol. TCP throughout enhancement. The new QUIC protocol. The WWW and the HTTP protocols. Web server throughout enhancement.
Grading policy: 15% homework + 85% final exam. All homework should be submitted. Submission is in pairs.
Late homework submission policy: Late submission is up to 3 days with grade penalty as follows:

Participation Bonus
Students will receive a bonus of 0.75 points on their final grade for eachfull lecture attended.
This bonus applies only during periods of frontal (in-person) lectures.
To qualify for the bonus, a student must have a hard copy or a soft copy of the course lecture notes during the lecture and must attend the entire lecture.
Students serving in reserve duty will receive the bonus upon sending me their reserve duty confirmation.
Students who have served 21 days or more in reserve duty during the semester will also receive the bonus for the week following their return, even if they do not attend the frontal lecture.
