Credit Points: 3.0
Homework Assignments
- Three mandatory homework assignments. Homework average grade of 80 or above is required to pass the course.
- Homework assignments to be submitted in pairs.
- Late submissions are allowed, with 5 points deducted for each day of delay.
- HW assignments bonus: a homework average of 85 or above adds 1 point to the final course grade, 90 or above adds 2 points, and 95 or above adds 3 points.
- The bonus is added only to a passing exam grade (55 or above) - does not turn a failing exam grade into a course passing grade.
Final Grade
The final grade is the exam grade, plus the homework bonus (if the exam grade is 55 or above), capped at 100.
Attendance and Exam Material
Attendance at lectures and tutorials is highly recommended - the material for the final exam includes all the material covered in the lectures and in the tutorials, the slides do not contain all the material covered in class.
