Exam open material policy | |

Dear students, The exam follows the following open material policy: you can bring any material from the course. This includes: - Your personal notes, handwritten or printed - Lecture and tutorial slides - Homework sheets and solutions - The 3 previous exams and solutions provided on the course website - Your personal formula sheet - Supplementary material provided on the course website You cannot bring: - A calculator - Textbooks - Exercises/material coming from outside the course website - Anything not related to the course material There is no limit in the number of pages of open material you can bring. That being said, we invite you to be considerate of the planet: it is useless to print out every single slide and lecture note. In practice those doing so do not use it and then and throw them immediately to the bin. Statistically, those who succeed do not tend to bring much open material. Good luck! Workload this semester | |

Dear students, we are well aware of the ongoing difficult situation for everyone, reservists or not. As is the Technion policy, we will lighten the workload this semester compared to previous years. However, the strategy we employ this semester is different from what we did last semester, which included among other things to merge the first and second homeworks together. Rest assured that we will do something for future homeworks and when designing and grading the exams.
