| Course announcement | This semester (Winder 2011-12), I will be giving a course on Lower Bounds in Distributed Computing.
The course will be given on Mondays 14:30-16:30 at Taub 201 (and not as previously announced).

| HW3 Q3 – Uniform consensus is required | In question 3 you are required to design an early-stopping algorithm for *uniform* consensus with crash failures (and not “regular” consensus as the assignment imply).

Two small corrections for home assignment 1:
Q2 - in algorithm 2 initially both flags are false.
Q3 - prove that *n-1* registers must be read in the *entry code*.
A corrected version appears on the Assignments tab. |
