The appeal forms will be returned to the secretaries by Thursday. Due to a mistake in the checking, the grades for some of the students who did not appeal have been increased as well.

HW5 grades are published
The test used to grade the assignments is published in the assignment section.
To run it, you will need NUnit, (which is very similar to Java's JUnit), and can be found here:
http://www.nunit.org/.
There are 11 tests, thus the score for the assignments is calculated by:
1 + N*11 - P, where N is the number of test passed, and P is a penalty.
Penalty was given in case of late submission (as usual)
and due to incorrect file format (5 points).

HW3 grade correction
It has been decided to cancel test #3.
The grades that were effected by it were corrected accordingly.

Homework Assignment 4 grades have been published
The grades of the forth assignment have been uploaded to the GR System.
The dry submissions will be returned to the secretariat in a few days.
Under the Assignments section you can find some additional files:

OOP4Tests.zip - The code of the tests used for grading the wet part.
OOP4Results.xls - An Excel sheet with testing and grading details.

Appeals regarding the wet part should be submitted via e-mail to Ariel.
Appeals regarding the dry part should be submitted via e-mail to Keren.

hw3 - resubmission
We have decided to enable hw3 resubmission.
Assignments may be resubmitted, only if no logical changes has been done.
This was meant to give a second chance for those who wrote their assignment on the wrong version, etc.

(*) Resubmitted assignments will receive the maximal grade of 75.

(*) Assignments which has significant changes with comparison to the original submission will not be checked.

(*) Last (rigid) date for resubmission is Sunday, January 23rd.

(*) Submission will be done electronically.

(*) Resubmitted files should be named: resub<id1>_<id2>.zip

hw3 grades has been published
In order to run to the test, do the following:

1. File in the attached file, named HW3.st
2. Copy the content of Test.txt to the worksapce.
3. Open a transcript window.
4. Run the code in the workspace.

The grade was calculated by:

30 + 7 * #of passing tests - penalty.

penalty was given due to late submission, or due to code needed human interference.


Both hw3.st and Test.txt are added to the assignment page.

There was a problem with the initial upload of HW2 grades. All grades should be uploaded now - if you're missing a grade please contact Alon ASAP.

In addition, an excel file with the grading summary has been published for the assignment, available under the assignment tab of the website.

Clarification about the lab
The lab on Sunday and on Wednesday is precisely the same lab, no need to attend both - those are just two different options, so every student could choose the more comfortable time.

Squeak Lab
A lab helping students familiarize themselves with the Squeak environment will be held in the SSDL lab (2nd floor) on the following dates:
Sunday 24/10/2010 16:30-17:30
Wednesday 27/10/2010 12:30-13:30

Attending the lab is optional but recommended. The instructions are published under the misc folder in the "course material" section of the website.
