Every day after August 31 costs one additional point.
Please send by e-mail one zipped file with your code and external
documentaion. There is no need to include any libraries in the

| Mini-Project - new submission deadlines | Hi,
Due to requests, we decided to update the submission deadlines and grading policy for the mini-project.
Submissions through June 30 will get 5 points bonus.
Submissions from July 1 through July 14 will have no penalty/bonus.
Submissions from July 15 through August 31will lose 10 points.
Presentations of projects submitted in the third timeframe may be held in
October 2005, but the (documented) code must be submitted electronically by August 31.
In addition, every team must set a meeting with us either on June 20 or on June 27 in order to update us on the team's progress and workplan.

3. Mini Project presentation.
Each presentation will be 90 minutes long.
There are four possible dates for the presentation:
22/6, 23/6, 28/6 and 29/6. In each date, the following hours are possible:
9, 11, 13, 15.
Choose one of the 16 possibilities, and mail me your choice.
Time are allocated on a first come - first served basis.
During the presentation we will check your system against inputs.
In addition, you will be asked questions about various aspects of the
mini-project.
An example for such an input will be posted on the site tomorrow (Tue.).
Late submissions will be allowed at the cost of one point per day
(or part of a day). |

| The simple way to create an XML file from a Document object | The simple way to create an XML file from a Document object is using serialization utilities.
It is not recommended to bother to implement the transformation from a document object to a physical file.
In Java and DOM, a serialization, which is the action of transforming an object to a file, can be done like this:
