Note that in the first question we regard k as a constant, that is, the "big theta" notation may hide any dependency on k.

Due date is 15.4, but students are encouraged to start working on it as soon as possible.

Students requiring an extension because of reserve duty should contact Yonatan before the submission deadline.

Please submit the assignment to Yonatan, either by email or to Yonatan's mailbox on the fifth floor.
