| Homework 2 is checked | Checked assignments are returned to the boxes near the secretariat.
Grades are published at the course site. In order to compensate for the possible errors in assignment check, 2 point factor was added for each grade. In case of appeal the homework is re-checked, therefore these 2 points are removed prior to the possible grade update.
Homework appeals (together with a checked homework itself) should be submitted in written form to the homework checker box no later than 24.01.2011. |

| Assignment 3 & SVN | In assignment 3 we will introduce Build 1 which is a limited version of the
client story from assignments 1&2. In Build 1 many of the original
requirements are removed. Among them are also the requirement to use
SVN for maintaining the system's code.
If you still wish to use SVN yourself, you may do so.
However, unfortunately,
we will not be able to provide an SVN account in the SSDL lab.
Note that it is possible to open a free SVN in Google. |

| Using SVN | We received some questions about using SVN due to the following
requirement in the client story:
"For maintaining system code,
the development team should use SVN as their version control"
Please note that this requirement only refers to the source code which is
not part of this first assignments, hence you need not worry about it yet.
Nevertheless, teams that would like yo open an SVN account for their
personal use (only in the SSDL lab) can send Roy their team details
and an SVN account will be opened for them in the SSDL lab. |

| Welcome to Introduction to Software Engineering! | Slides of the first lectures are available on the course website
(http://webcourse.cs.technion.ac.il/236321).
It is highly recommended to print out the slides
(4 slides per page is optimal) and bring them with you to the class.
The slides with the side-notes you will take in class
will prove most valuable in the exam.
Have a fruitful and enjoying course!
