Regarding appeals:

3. Appeal only if you think we deducted points for something that is correct.
4. Do not appeal if your answer is missing information or is not clear enough.
5. In extreme cases we might recheck your entire exam.
6. In the Appeal you should write for each question you wish to appeal on an argument for the reason you appeal.
7. In the appeal you must write your name and id number. Also, the email subject will be 234293 - Appeal. The email content language will be Hebrew.
8. An announcement will be published after ALL appeals are checked and answered. Please do not inquire about your appeal before you see such an announcement.

In order to make life easier for you, we have merged HW12 and HW13 to one single HW with 5 questions for submission instead of 6. In addition you have 2 full weeks to solve it and you should be able to solve most of the questions already.
As of a result of that merge, HW12 weight in the final grade will be doubled.
We advise you to read the guidelines in the second page of HW12 before attempting to solve questions 4-5
The course staff will try to return all the HW before Moed A.

| Gadi's lecture notes | Gadi will be updating on a weekly basis lecture notes that can be found under "course material".
Note that the lecture notes are strictly informal, meaning they:
1) May (and will) contain mistakes.
2) May (and will) contain extra material not shown in class (as well as material shown in the tutorials).
3) May (and will) contain material in order different from the one given in class.
4) Can not (and will not) be referred to in the homework or test (as opposed to the lectures).
5) Can not (and will not) be the basis for appeals of any kind.
However, the notes contain the definitions, notations and theorems shown in class.
Gadi would welcome any feedback (especially mistake fixes, including typographical errors). |

| Workshops | Starting next week, each week we will give two workshops of two hours each. In the workshop you work on the homework and can consult a TA. You are encouraged to come to at least one workshop per week.
