Dear Students, The midterm will take place on Monday, 26.12, 18:30-20:30. The rooms for the midterm are Fischbach 405/504/505 and Taub 3,4,5,6,7,8. The material for the midterm includes everything up to and including week 8 (19.12). This means that greedy algorithms and (weighted) shortest paths methods from a single source (Dijkstra and Bellman-Ford) are in, but all pairs shortest paths (APSP) and dynamic programming are not. ## Change of tutorial schedule | |

Dear Students, To sync the tutorials better with the lectures, we have changed the order of tutorials. This week all groups but Tuesday's 9:30 class will see the "Greedy+Huffman" tutorial which now appears on the course website. Next week, Tuesday's 9:30 class will see the greedy tutorial while the remaining groups will go over the first shortest path tutorial. Since the assignment contains shortest path problems, we will shortly replace those with greedy/Huffman exercises, and give an appropriate extension to the submission deadline.
